Welcome to GWChicagoBunker.com
Hey guys! This is Homer and I'm excited to finally bring this idea to life. If you dont know me or seen me around at the Chicago Bunker, let me first introduce myself. I'm the newest and coolest Hobby Specialist to join the Bunker staff. WINK. I've been in the hobby for just about over a year now and I've enjoy every moment so much of the hobby, that I had to join the Games Workshop family. If you're wondering how I learned to make such a cool Website, I worked as a Art Director/ Graphic Designer for 10 years out of college until I found this amazing hobby.
Enough about me, lets get to the "meat" of what this site is going to be all about. (For those all in the Bug Hunt Meat Siege that's for you guys). I want to have a site that bridges the Bunker to the community in multiple ways. Lets be honest, we can't all be at the Bunker 24/7, but that doesn't mean that once you walk out the doors of the Bunker you can't be part of how the community is shaped. I want a place where we can talk about anything from new armies you're thinking about starting to making a tournament ready army list and even answering the simplest How-to-Hobby question you may have. I can go on and on about the endless possibilities this site can have but I rather let the site grow and speak for itself.
Before I sign out, I just wanna give a big shout out to Aaron and Mark of CoolGuysWhoSitAtHome for partnering up with me and providing a lot of the video content and pre/post event interviews as well as the many amazing photos that will be happening in the Chicago Bunker. Considering I'll be working at most of our big events and "busy," they can do the stuff that I can't. So thanks to those guys, and I'm super excited to work with them to provide you with amazing content for this site.
