I can't express enough how excited I am about Warhammer Fantasy Battle 8th edition. With Games Workshop announcing the release in July, Christmas just came a lot earlier for me. I started the hobby playing Fantasy with Ogres and if all the rumors I've been reading are true, I might very well be starting 8th Edition with the big green charging machines.
In the next few weeks, I will be trying my best to get in contact with the Design Studio and ask them a few question for the GWChicagoBunker.com community about this exciting release. Stay tuned and until then, I leave you with this little blurb from Games Workshop and new announcement video.

WFB: 8th Edition – Review; Erratas & FAQs

It'll be a week from tomorrow since the New WFB: 8th Edition has been released to the public, so I figured it would be a perfect time to review this massively new addition to the Games Workshop line. I've had several weeks to look over this book and study it page by page, so lets break it down and get right to it.
PRODUCT APPEARANCE:
Simply amazing! Just the pure look and feel of the rulebook gets me excited about playing the new edition. 500 plus pages of full colored, high-gloss, well designed and easy to follow book of awesomeness. When the rulebook has its own book-marker attached to it, the game truly gives the system the epic feel it deserves. Its that big... and heavy.
PRICING:
There will always be people grumbling about any price differences from what they're accustomed to paying, but you are honestly getting your money's worth here. Pages of full colored, well written pages. Easily the most impressive rulebook to date. I'm very disappointed in myself for missing out on the Collector's Edition of the rulebook, but extremely happy to have my name inside and have a copy signed by the CEO himself.
